Dr. David MORROW

David A. Morrow, MD, MPH is an active investigator in the TIMI Group at BWH with a research focus in risk stratification and the management of acute coronary syndromes.  He was instrumental in development of the TIMI Biomarker Research Program.  He sits on the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry (NACB) Laboratory Medicine Practice Guidelines Committee on Biochemical Cardiac Markers for which he leads the clinical section on ACS.  He is on the editorial boards of American Heart JournalCirculation, Clinical Chemistry and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and he is a Continuing Medical Education Editor for Circulation.  He also serves on the Program Committee for the American Heart Association Council on Clinical Cardiology.  In addition to being a frequent lecturer, Dr. Morrow has more than 100 original reports, reviews, editorials, book chapters and electronic publications in his areas of expertise.  He is the editor of “Cardiovascular Biomarkers: Pathophysiology and Disease Management
